Molecular Fitness Partners with ART We are proud to announce that The Molecular Fitness Lifestyle has been selected by Dr. Mike Leahy (in the photo Dr. Leahy, right and Dr. Tanelian, left) as the exclusive nutritional and wellness program to complement Active Release Techniques. ART is a patented soft tissue massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. ART was developed by Dr. Michael Leahy, DC, CCSP who has been teaching and certifying more than 6000 healthcare providers worldwide for the last 18 years.Molecular Fitness was selected because injury and wound healing involve complex coordination of molecular and cellular processes such as cellular regeneration, inflammation and gene regulation. These processes involve cellular communication and therefore involve proper connexin molecule function. According to Dr. Leahy “ART providers are in the business of helping people do the impossible. Conditions that people resign themselves to living with can now be treated and resolved. The same goes for Molecular Fitness. Dr. Tanelian has designed a program that anyone can do easily. It is a program that will help millions of people lead a healthier life.”
Patty Foltz Wins Tufts 10K with Molecular Fitness Patty Foltz and her husband Tom live in Stowe, VT and travel the New England area to compete in regional running events. This summer, Patty had a phenomenal racing season and placed 1st in the Tufts 10K in her age group (which was also 2nd in the age group below that!). She has set course records in nearly every race this year and is one of the fastest women in her age group (60+) in the country. “MineralConnexin is a huge factor for me in my training and recovery. Since starting on the supplements I have been able to train harder and recover quicker.” Patty said. “This has been a huge improvement for me both mentally and physically as I move into my sixties.” As the racing season ends here in New England, Patty is looking forward to a winter of skiing and relaxing with her husband Tom and their puppy Mojo.
Olympic Hopeful Jen Toomey Running on Molecular Fitness I have been on the side lines for basically two years with injury after injury and have been searching for some missing piece that has kept me out of commission. As a professional athlete, I do my best to take care of all the little things that I can: I monitor everything I eat, I get regular massage, see a chiropractor every other week, have a trainer, have been to the Olympic Training Centers to see nutritionists and “experts” to solve this mystery. Still, these weird, injuries and illnesses kept occurring. About one month ago, I contacted Dr. Tanelian. He suggested that I start monitoring my pH right away. My first reading was 5.0. The first couple of days, I tried to just monitor my pH without changing anything else…still 5.0-5.5. Dr. Tanelian sent me the MineralConnexin supplements and pointed me to the PRAL guide. Within about a week, I was able to get my pH into the 7.0 range. By the 3rd week, I saw a major change in my performances on the track. I admit, if someone asked if I felt much better, I would probably say no. As a competitive runner, I’m always pushing that edge, so I typically don’t feel good…but in training and workouts, I have started hitting and surpassing times I haven’t seen in years. I am recovering faster, both in the workouts and between workout days. I just noticed this morning, that a foot injury that has been plaguing me for 2 years, doesn’t hurt anymore. Dr. Tanelian lets the numbers speak and so far, I like what they are saying. I am looking forward to seeing what happens as I continue on the program. I suspect that some good performances are on the way. Stay tuned…
